The WA Government announced this week key reform measures to enhance the quality and standard of construction to meet compliance for buildings in WA.
This includes the introduction of mandatory inspections (progress/staged inspections) at critical stages of construction. The first stage is set to be rolled out across apartment and commercial buildings in 2026 with residential building expected to follow shortly after.

We see you have added an Electrical, Plumbing and Gas inspection (EPG) with a Pre-Settlement inspection.
Please note these are very similar inspections, just performed at different times. The EPG occurs during your pre-purchase inspection, while the Pre-Settlement occurs 5-7 days before settlement.
